Erin joined the JFS staff in December, 2019, after serving as the Program Director of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman program for the capital region, Catholic Charities Senior & Caregiver Support Services for the past year and a half, coordinating all aspects of the program as a contractor of the State Office for Aging. She recruited, trained and managed volunteers, advocating for residents of long-term care facilities within a ten-county region. Previously, Erin worked in various roles at Catholic Charities Senior & Caregiver Support Services, assisting with Meals on Wheels program, social adult day program, senior dining sites and was the respite coordinator for the Caregiver Support program. Prior to working for Catholic Charities, Erin worked for nine years at Teresian House nursing home as a social worker then a unit manager.
Erin is a Social Worker who has worked with older adults for more than 12 years. She received her Master’s in Social Work from the College of St. Rose. Erin lives in East Greenbush with her husband and seven-year-old son Jacob. Erin enjoys reading, spending time with her family and watching her son play lacrosse, baseball and football.
