Director of Clinical Services
(75% – Full Time)
PURPOSE
To direct clinical services department of JFS; to offer responsive and innovative social work interventions supporting individuals of all ages and families with life’s challenges and transitions.
Responsibilities:
- Direct clinical services department of JFS
- Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff and interns
- Provide counseling, case management and information/referrals to individuals and families, including Jewish elders and their families
- Be reasonably available for client emergencies.
- Collaborate with existing community resources
- Work with Finance Director and President & CEO to manage billing service and policies, program development, fiscal budget and performance improvement
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health Counseling,
- Licensed to practice in New York (LCSW-R preferred; RN, LCSW, LMHC, LMSW, PhD or PsyD considered)
- Management experience with telehealth
- Minimum of five years of experience in the field
- Two years minimum supervisory experience
- Familiarity with Greater Capital District Jewish Community a plus, not required
- Able to work flexible hours, including potential for some evenings
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate well with team members, outside agencies and service providers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid NY driver’s license, reliable vehicle
- Willing to learn new software for recordkeeping and billing

Intake Coordinator & Clinician
(50% – Full Time)
We are seeking a dynamic clinician with a breadth of clinical knowledge and experience to work with clients of all ages. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, including individual, family, group therapy, case management and community outreach. Particular focus is on providing services in the Jewish community.
MSW required, LCSW-R preferred.
50%-FTE. Flexible hours. Remote work opportunity.
