Location: Albany, NY and Capital Region
Pay: 45k-55k
Mode of Service: Mix of remote and in-person services
JFS is seeking a dynamic, full-time Licensed Clinician with clinical knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will have experience working with both older adults and children.
Responsibilities and duties include:
• Intakes
• Assessments
• Diagnosing
• Support groups
• Student groups and in-school counseling
• Counseling (for individuals, couples and families of all ages)
• Treatment plans
• Internal and external referrals
• Documentation using our electronic records system.
• Other duties as appropriate
Qualifications:
• Experience (Preferred): Psychotherapy, 2 years • NY State License (Required): PsyD, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R
• NY State Driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation (Required)
Must Provide:
• At least three professional references
• Criminal background check clearance (Required, submitted through JFS)
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
Experience:
• Experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses and populations
• Experience with multiple therapy modalities and evidenced-based interventions
• Working knowledge of the DSM-5/ICD-10
• Have experience with mental status exams and diagnosis (required)
• Have the ability to respond to calls, texts, emails from clients within one business day
Hours: Flexible; Minimum of 37.5 hours a week; can include evenings and Sundays.
