Founded in 1854, Jewish Family Services of Northeastern New York is one of the region’s continuously operating human services agencies, and provides a continuum of support, services and resources throughout the community for individual and families of all ages.
Our programs and services range from counseling to guidance for those aging in place to assistance for those facing food or financial insecurity – and so much more. JFS’ expert staff is available virtually, by telephone and in person, when safe to do so.
Our clinicians are specialists in psychology, social work, nursing, occupational therapy, case management, education, yoga, and meditation/mindfulness. They have expertise in helping people with grief and loss, anxiety, trauma and crisis intervention, senior safety and independence, long-term care planning, and so much more.
