Two Ounces of Prevention. Two Important Health Screenings in April

March 28, 2017

Your Albany NNORC, in partnership with the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS), is offering two valuable health screenings. Both are FREE and pre-registration is not required.

Osteoporosis presents a serious health challenge for women AND men over age 50. Meet with ACPHS to talk about lifestyle, diet, family history, medications and other factors that may increase your risk. This screening
utilizes a FRAX tool and bone density machine for accuracy.

Meet individually with SCPHS students and faculty to discuss better ways to manage and stick with your
prescribed drug regime. Learn to identify potential medication related problems. Blood Pressure screenings
will also be available.

Take advantage of the opportunity for this free and confidential service to get the information you need to maintain good health. NO personal information is required. Lots of FREE giveaways such as medication
diaries, pill boxes, heart healthy diet materials and so much more.

We care about YOU and your good health!  Come along, and bring a friend on Tuesday, April 18 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Rd, Albany.

In case you are wondering, this offering is a “Wellness Wednesday” offered on a Tuesday!
