Come celebrate Older American’s Month with singer and songwriter Ruth Pelham who will lead NNORC participants in singing, songwriting, art-making and an animated conversation based on the theme, “Engage at Any Age.” Throughout the workshop we will share our recollections of when our engagement with family, friends, and communities resulted in positive outcomes on personal and societal levels.
Ruth is a frequent guest to NNORC and is the founder of the Music Mobile that for forty years has brought love and learning to thousands of people of all ages through concerts, workshops, international exchanges and community-empowerment initiatives.

May is Older Americans Month, a time to recognize and appreciate the contributions of Older Americans to our community and country.
Join us on Thursday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m. as we celebrate this year’s theme, “Age Out Loud,” with performer and community advocate Ruth Pelham of the Music Mobile. As in her past visits to NNORC, Ruth will enthusiastically lead us in songs and guide us through a hands-on activity that brings forth the wisdom and power of being an elder. The program will take place at B’Nai Shalom Reform Congregation, 420 Whitehall Rd, Albany.  Please call NNORC at 514-2023 to sign up!

The May Living Healthy Alumni group is open to everyone. We are hosting local musician Ruth Pelham, who will provide music and entertainment as we celebrate Older Americans Month. As always we will enjoy fellowship, fun, discussion and healthy snacks. Join us!
