Absentee Ballot Registration
Unable to get to the polls on Election Day this coming November 8th?  Whether you’ll already be snowbirding somewhere in the sunbelt or you have a temporary or permanent illness or disability that makes it difficult for you to leave your home, you can still cast your vote by completing an absentee ballot application in advance of Election Day.  This option is also available to those who act as primary caregivers for someone who is ill or
physically disabled.
Simply call the Albany County Board of Elections at 487-5060 to request an application be mailed to you, or download one from the web by visiting:
http://tinyurl.com/kag673q.  This is a simple one-page form that takes no longer than five minutes to complete and requires no extra documentation. Signed and completed applications must be postmarked by November 1 this year and ballots themselves must be postmarked by November 7.  So don’t delay . . . call today . . . and make your vote count on Election Day!
