NNORC Travelers: A Fall Visit to Columbia County

Fall is beautiful in upstate New York, and NNORC travelers will be heading to Columbia County for an afternoon of food, wine, and history.
Join us for lunch at LaBella’s in Valatie, where you can choose from four pasta dishes, salad and dessert. After lunch, we will head to Kinderhook for a guided tour of the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site. Van Buren was the first president from New York State and has a special place in the hearts of New Yorkers. You’ll be able to feel the history of the 1840’s and be transported back in time as we visit his house.
After the tour, we will relax with a wine and cider tasting at the beautiful Brookview Station Winery at Goold Orchard in Castleton. We will return to Albany well-fed and well-educated. Space is limited so sign up quickly.
Please note that the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site requires some light walking, but the facility has golf carts available for those who need it.
