This month we welcome Jacqueline Citriniti, lead educator at the Albany Pine Bush Preserve, who will talk to us about this globally rare ecosystem. The preserve is rich in geological, natural, and cultural history. The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is home to a unique variety of rare plants and animals, including the federally endangered Karner Blue Butterfly. This program will be held on Thursday, October 24 at 1:00 p.m. at APL’s Bach Branch (455 New Scotland Ave, Albany).

Please RSVP to NNORC at 518-514-2023. There will be no November meeting, but we resume meeting on Thursday, December 26.
