When you take to the Five Rivers Nature Trails, you enter a different world. On Wednesday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m., Marilyn Fancher, trained trail guide, will lead a gentle hike through the trails. The nature trails vary in terrain from ADA-compliant (asphalt, boardwalk or crushed stone) to gentle grades over grass and woodchips. We’ll pick the trail based on who signs up.
There is also a new visitor center at the Environmental Nature Center with interactive displays and exhibits, in the event of rain. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and stay to enjoy the setting after the hike. Please bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. Long pants and sturdy shoes or sneakers are preferred on the trails.
